REAR SHOCK ABSORBER EXTENSION ADJUSTMENT
The extension travel of the shock absorber can be
adjusted:
- standard calibration: 9 Click (from fully closed).
To reset the standard setting, turn lower adjuster
(1) clockwise until reaching fully closed position. Then
turn it back by the mentioned clicks.
In order to obtain a smooth braking action, turn the
adjuster counter clockwise. Vice versa to obtain a
harder braking action.
FORK FUNCTIONALITY CHECK
To check proper functioning of the front fork, oper-
ate as follows:
- get on the motorcycle;
- pull the front brake lever and forcefully push the
handlebar downwards a few times to check that
the fork extends and compresses correctly.
- If you notice oil leaks and jamming, have it checked
by an SWM dealer.
STEERING BEARING CHECK
Place the motorcycle on a stand in vertical position
and secure it so that it cannot overturn.
- Stand in front of the motorcycle.
- Firmly hold the lower part of both fork legs and
move the fork forward and backward checking
that there is no play.
WARNING*: If you feel any play during the move-
ment, have proper tightening of the steering bear-
ings checked by an SWM dealer.
