Message alert signal
As soon as a new message has been recorded, the base station will emit a beep every minute to alert you that one
or more messages have been recorded during your absence.
This function can be switch on or off by briefly pressing the
for button (the factory setting is Off). Once
the button is released, the current setting will be confirmed.

Setting the volume
The volume for message or memo playback and listening to incoming messages can be set between L1 and L5
using the
and
buttons.

Listening in to incoming messages
Normally, you can monitor incoming calls at the base station while they are being recorded.
This function can be switch on or off by briefly pressing the
button (the factory setting is On). Once the
button is released, the current setting will be confirmed.
7.1.8
Interrupting a recording
You can interrupt a message recording by taking the call via the handset. To do this, press the
button at the
handset. The answering machine switches off, and you can talk to the caller directly.
7.1.9
Recording, changing or deleting the greeting message
For your greeting message, you can use a pre-recorded English standard message, or you can record your own
message. If you have not recorded your own greeting, the caller will automatically hear the standard greeting. The
length of your own greeting message may not exceed 40 seconds.
Text of the pre-recorded standard greeting:
"Hello, your call cannot be taken at the moment. So please leave your message after the tone".
Recording your own greeting message

Press and hold the
button for two seconds.
2.
Dictate your message after the beep
3.
Once you have recorded your greeting, press the
button. You will hear your new greeting.
Note:
Even if you have recorded your own greeting, you can revert back to the pre-recorded greeting at any time.

You can check your greeting message at any time. Simply press the
