The remote access facility
The remote access facility allows the answering machine to be called up from any telephone in order to listen to
messages and to carry out other functions.
7.4.1
The PIN code
Your answering machine features personal access authorisation so that only you can listen to incoming messages
using the remote access facility. This PIN code is set in the factory to "0 0 0".
Note:
This PIN code is not the same as the base station PIN code.
Changing the PIN code
1.
Press and hold the
for 2 seconds.

Use the

buttons to set the first number of your chosen PIN code and confirm
with
.
3.
Use the
and
buttons to set the second number of your chosen PIN code and confirm
with
.
4.
Use the
and
buttons to set the third number of your chosen PIN code and confirm
with
.
5.
The complete new PIN code is played back for confirmation.
Checking the PIN code
To check the PIN code press
. The current PIN code is read out in English.
7.4.2
Listening to messages using the remote access facility
1.
Call your number and wait until your call is answered.
2.
Press the
º
button
while
listening to your greeting message and enter the three-digit PIN code. You have
up three attempts for entering the correct PIN code.
3.
After the PIN code has been entered correctly, the available options will be announced (in English). The options
are listed in the next section.
4.
Select the required function by pressing the appropriate number from the table. The call will be terminated
automatically after 8 seconds, if no selection was made.
5.
Replace the handset when you have finished with the remote access facility.
