b. The use of non-Truma spare
parts/accessories
c. Non observance of the
operating instructions.
3. The operating pressure for the gas supply is
30mbar (or 28mbar butane/37mbar propane)
and must correspond to the operating
pressure of the appliance (see name plate).
4. Do not operate the water heater when
refuelling the vehicle and when in the garage.
5. During the initial operation of a brand new
appliance (or after it has not been used for
some time), a certain amount of fumes, and
a slight smell, may be noticed for a short
time. Remedial action is to immediately
run the heater at maximum output and to
ensure adequate room ventilation.
6. If the burner makes an unusual noise
or if the flame lifts off, it is likely that the
regulator is faulty and it is essential to have
it checked.

Instructions for heaters fitted with automatic
ignitor or piezo ignitor
switching on
1. Open the valve on the gas cylinder. Open
quick-acting valve in gas supply line.
2. Turn control knob to thermostat setting
1-10 and press it down as far as the stop.
At the same time keep operating the Piezo
ignitor rapidly until the flame ignites.
3. Keep the control knob depressed for a
further 10 seconds to allow the safety pilot
to operate.
4. (Piezo only) Watch through the flame
window for another 10 seconds to make
sure that the flame does not go out through
air in the supply pipe (caused by the valve
being closed or changing the cylinder).
attention: always wait at least 2 minutes
before attempting to re-ignite, otherwise
there is a risk of blowbacks (misfiring) .
this also applies if a working heater goes
out has to be re-lit .
