• Install the cam chain guide No. 1

• Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK SUPER to the bolts
and tighten its to the specified torque.

99000-32030: THREAD LOCK SUPER “1303”
or equivalent
#
Cam chain guide No. 1 bolt: 18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 lb-ft)
• Remove the tensioner lock tool.
NOTE:
Click sound is heard when the cam chain tension adjuster is
released.
GENERATOR
• Degrease the tapered portion of the generator rotor assembly
and also the crankshaft. Use nonflammable cleaning solvent
to wipe off the oily or greasy matter to make these surfaces
completely dry.
• Install the key

• Install the generator rotor assembly.
• Tighten the generator rotor bolt to the specified torque.

Generator rotor bolt: 160 N·m (16.0 kgf-m, 115.5 lb-ft)
REAR CAM CHAIN DRIVE SPROCKET
• Install the rear cam chain drive sprocket

onto the crank-
shaft.
NOTE:
When installing the cam chain drive sprocket, align the wide
spline teeth

and
B
.
• Install the rear cam chain drive sprocket bolt with the washer.
• Hold the generator rotor and tighten its bolt to the specified
torque.

Rear cam chain drive sprocket bolt:
85 N·m (8.5 kgf-m, 61.5 lb-ft)
