SPRING REMOVAL

• Remove the rear shock absorber unit from the frame. 

(

• Loosen the lock-nut

 and turn the adjuster

cial tool.

• Turn the lock-nut

 fully to the end of the

thread.

• Remove the spring seat

 from the rear shock absorber.

REAR SHOCK ABSORBER INSPECTION

• Inspect the rear shock absorber for oil leakage.
• Inspect the damper rod for scratch, damage and smooth

movement.

• Inspect the bump rubber for deterioration and damage.
• Inspect the damper rod hidden by the bump rubber by moving

the bump rubber.

• Inspect the upper bushing for damage.
