Signal generator peak voltage:
More than 1.0 V (Blue – Yellow)
If the peak voltage on the signal generator lead wire couplers is
OK but on the ignitor coupler is out of specification, the wire har-
ness must be replaced. If both peak voltages are out of specifica-
tion, the signal generator must be replaced and re-checked.
SIGNAL GENERATOR
• Remove the seat and fuel tank and disconnect the signal gen-
erator coupler.
• Measure the resistance between the lead wires and ground. If
the resistance is not within the specified value, the signal gen-
erator stator must be replaced.
