AC'97 Audio (JC1, JC2)
AC'97 provides high quality onboard
audio. The X7DA3 features 6-channel
sound for front L&R, rear L&R, center
and subwoofer speakers. This feature
is activated with the JPAC jumper. The
Line In/Line Out/Mic jacks on the I/O
backpanel are used for sound output
when AC'97 is enabled (see diagram
at right). To activate onboard audio,
please enable the JPAC jumper.
Blue: Rear L/R speakers (Line In)
Green: Front L/R speakers (Line
Out)
Pink: Center/subwoofer (Mic)
Alarm Reset (JAR)
The system will notify you in the event
of a power supply failure. This feature
assumes that Supermicro redundant
power supply units are installed in the
chassis. If you only have a single power
supply installed, you should not connect
anything to this jumper to prevent false
alarms. See the table on the right for
pin defi nitions.
