Clear BMC System Event Log
Clear BMC System Log now
Select OK and press the <Enter> key to clear the BMC system log immediately.
Select Cancel to keep the BMC System log. The options are
OK
and Cancel.
Caution
: Any cleared information is unrecoverable. Make absolutely sure
that you no longer need any data stored in the log before clearing the
BMC Event Log.

Set this feature to con

gure the IPMI LAN adapter with a network address as shown
in the following graphics.
Channel Number
- This feature displays the channel number.
Channel Number Status
- This feature returns the channel status for the
Channel Number selected above: "Channel Number is OK" or "Wrong Channel
Number".
IP Address Source
This features allows the user to select how an IP address is assigned to a cli-
ent computer or network device. Select DHCP (Dynamic Host Con
fi
guration
Protocol) to allow a client (computer or device) obtains an IP address from a
DHCP server that manages a pool of IP addresses and network information on
a "request and grant" basis. Upon time-out (or lease expiration), the IP address
