Installing a Low Profile Expansion Card
1. Power down the system as described in section 3.1 and remove the top cover.
2. Remove the bracket and sections of the chassis in the rear.

3. If necessary, attach the riser card to the riser card bracket using screws.
4. Insert the expansion card into a slot on the riser card while aligning the expansion card
back plate with the open slot in the rear of the chassis.
5. Insert the riser card into the motherboard expansion slot while aligning the riser card
bracket with the rear of the chassis.
6. If necessary, connect power cables to one of the 8-pin power connectors on the
motherboard.
