To Determine the Firmware Version
Perform this procedure if you are not sure which version of controller firmware your
system is running. You determine the controller firmware version by logging onto
the Sun StorEdge T3+ array through an Ethernet connection.
1. Log on to the Sun StorEdge T3+ array controller firmware as described in “To
Establish a Telnet Session” on page 101.
2. Type the following command:
An example output of the
ver
command for the master controller unit is shown in
FIGURE 7-1
. Check the firmware release version shown on the top line against the
explanation shown in
TABLE 7-1
. In this case “2.00.01” represents firmware version
2.0.1 and an upgrade to version 2.1 is appropriate.
