Adding PC File Viewer to the CDE Front Panel
To Add PC File Viewer to the CDE Front Panel
1. Open File Manager (
dtfile
).
2. Go to the
/opt/SUNWdtpcv/bin
directory.
You will see the PC file viewer icon there.
3. Open the CDE front panel where you want the icon.
For example, the Application or File sub-folder.
4. Drag and drop the PC file viewer icon from File Manager to InstallIcon in the
selected subfolder.
Now the PC file viewer can be launched by just clicking on the icon in the CDE front
panel. You can also promote the icon to appear on the front panel by default.
