Removing and Replacing Hot-
Swappable Cards
For details about specific board products, refer to the appropriate board-level
hardware manuals.
Caution –
When the system is plugged in, energy hazards are present on the
midplane. Do not reach into the enclosure.
Caution –
Static electricity can damage electronic components. Wear a wrist strap
grounded through one of the system's ESD ground jacks when removing and
replacing hot-swappable cards.
This chapter gives removal and replacement instructions for the following hot-
swappable cards in a Netra CT 820 server:
