Use the
cfgdisk
command to display the status after disconnecting a disk drive:
hotplugmon
The hotplugmon utility monitors disk drive hotplug events and then reports them to
service processor.
hotplugmon
is not a command line utility. To verify a hotplug
event, you should check the corresponding entry in service processor log using
following
ipmitool
commands on the server:

faultmond
Command
faultmond
is a daemon that is started at boot time. It scans for faulted disk,
pending disk failures, and FRU information.
Use the
faultmond
command to determine faulted disk drives by using the
parameters shown in
