Cutting system
C A U T I O N !
Danger of injury!
When working on the cutting system, switch off the power
to the complete machine. Otherwise there is a danger of
fingers getting crushed or cut!

5.1.1
General
The greater the setting of the contact pressure and the greater the setting
angle, the greater the wear of the knife is, which reduces the service life.
Note on the service life of the knifes
5.1.2
The knifes are factory-set for a long service life.
The contact pressure is low and the setting angle (cutting angle) is kept small.
Basic settings
5.1.3
To set the knifes properly, they need to be removed.
Basics on setting the knifes (Fig. 24)
For the individual settings, the hexagonal nuts (1) – (3) need to be loosened
and threaded pin (1) – (3) screwed in and out. As soon as the prescribed
settings have been reached, the hexagonal nuts (1) – (3) need to be
retightened. Then check the settings that were made.
