- WARNING!
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. There is a risk of burns or explosion when refueling.
Follow these instructions when refueling:
- Store gasoline in suitable containers, in a safe place, at a sufficient distance from heat sources and open
flames.
- Keep gasoline containers out of the reach of children.
- Do not smoke while refueling and avoid inhalation of vapors.
- Always refuel outdoors when the engine is cold. Wipe up any stains or drops carefully.
- WARNING!
Immediately clean up any traces of fuel that has spilled on the machine or on the ground and
do not start the engine until the fuel has completely evaporated.
1. Remove the fuel cap.
2. Pour fuel into the tank. The minimum amount of fuel must be reached. Do not overflow.
- IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
If you will not be using the tiller for more than 30 days, drain the fuel tank,
start the engine and let it run until the fuel line and carburetor are empty (the engine shuts off by itself). This
procedure will prevent future engine problems. Fill the tank with fresh fuel before using it again.
OPERATION:
1. Switch on
Cold engine starting:
- Set the gear lever to position
.
- Slowly pull the starter handle until it engages and then pull hard. After starting, let the starter handle return
to its original position on its own.
- After starting the engine set the choke gear lever to position
.
- WARNING!
After the engine is started for the first time, there may be a slight amount of smoke due to the
burning of the protective layers in the engine. This is a fairly common situation that is not a problem.
Starting a warm engine
- Set the gear lever to position
.
- Slowly pull the starter handle until it engages and then pull hard. After starting, let the starter handle return
to its original position on its own.
2. Switch off
- Set the gear lever to position
and let the engine run for a while.
- Set the gear lever to position
.
3. Working depth adjustment
- Unlock the cotter pin and remove the locking pin that secures the digging support.
- Move the digging support higher or lower.
- The more the digging support is embedded in the soil, the deeper the cultivation blades will penetrate the
soil and the slower the tiller will move forward.
4. Coupler
- The coupler engages or disconnects the drive from the motor to the gearbox.
- When the coupler control lever (2) is depressed, the coupler engages, power is transmitted and the tiller
blades rotate.
- If the coupler control lever (2) is released, the clutch will disengage, power will not be transmitted and the
cultivating knives will not move.
