ATTENTION - Never expose the filter to moisture!
The filter material may be damaged irreparably
and a strong negative impact on the air cleansing
properties of the dust suction system can result!
5.3.4 Filter properties
Make sure that the filter vibrator is regularly operated in manual
operation. By activating the filter vibrator, the dust loaf that has
accumulated on the filter material is "vibrated away" into the
hopper. This is the only way to guarantee a high filter efficiency! A
vibration interval of 5 to 10 minutes is recommended, depending
on the dust concentration.
The hopper serves to collect dry, non-burning, non-flammable and
non-toxic sweepings. Liquids can and may not be swept, filled or
transported into the hopper.
5.4.1 Removal of the hopper
DANGER
- Never turn on the machine when the
hopper is not inserted! Never remove the
hopper when the machine is turned on! Dirt
particles, such as e.g. stones could be taken up
by the sweeper rollers and thrown out of the
machine at the rear with great force!
To remove the hopper, start by raising the two catches on the left
and right at the rear end of the frame. The hopper can then be
pulled back and out of the machine.

5.4.2 Emptying the hopper
DANGER
- Never empty the hopper without
personal protective equipment in the form of
protective goggles, gloves and breathing
protection!
ATTENTION
- Only carry the hopper at the
designated places! Never carry the full hopper
over long distances! Physical damage can result!
Never carry and lift the full hopper by yourself!
Always get a second person to help!
Remove the hopper from the machine, as described in Ch. . Empty
the hopper in compliance with the safety instructions and rules
provided above! After it has been emptied, place the hopper
properly back into the machine (1) and lock it by lowering the
catches to the left and right of the frame (2)..
