4.5.4 Mounting the side brush
The side brush is fixed on the side sweeper roller motor with a
screw. To achieve this easily, the side brush arm should be brought
to the rest position (1). When installing the side brush, it is
necessary to ensure that the lug on the side brush engaging piece
(2) engages in the feather key groove of the motor shaft when
mounting the side brush to the drive motor (3). The side brush
must now only be fastened with the wing screw (4) before it is
ready for use.

4.5.3 Setting the battery type
A distinction is made essentially between gel and acid batteries,
which have different discharge curves and shutdown thresholds.
To ensure correct battery indication and the proper discharge
protection, it is therefore necessary to define the right type of
battery within the control system. The factory setting is adapted to
gel batteries. If you want to use wet batteries in your sweeper,
please contact your service technician, who can perform the
necessary adjustment.

The drive of the sweeper is controlled by a separate control
system (S-Drive) and is thus independent of the main control
system. This enables transfer drives without activating the
sweeping unit (sweeper rollers & side brushes) and after
automatic shutdown of the components due to a low battery
charge.
