Handling the truck in an emergency

Emergency mast lowering

The drain screw allows the mast to be lowered

manually in the event of a problem.

CAUTION

This operation is only carried out in exceptional cir-

cumstances.

This operation is to be performed as follows:

–

Remove the plug (3) from the white pipe.

–

Place a large container under the white pipe

(2).

–

Loosen the screw (1) using a 7-mm span-

ner. The oil will then flow and the mast will

lower gradually.

DANGER

Danger of death!
Do not walk underneath raised loads!
Check that no one is in the danger area before man-

ually lowering the mast.


