Uncrating/Installation Instructions

NOTE: Door cannot be opened until power is on. To open door
manually, proceed as follows:
1. Open detergent compartment door.
2. Remove protective foam and tape.
3. Remove tape holding detergent connectors.
4. Locate and loosen two Phillips-head screws under control panel
cover.
5. Remove control panel cover. Set cover aside until installation and
start-up procedure is completed.
6. Locate door manual safety latches (see Figure 2-8). To open
door, first pull on the left safety latch then the right one.
7. Inside wash chamber, remove all tape securing rotary spray
arms to the top of the wash chamber. Check that spray header
rotates freely.
8. Remove foam between heating coils and bottom of wash cham-
ber.
9. Remove tape securing bottom filter to bottom of wash chamber.
NOTE: Be sure to keep filter in place.
10. Discard all packing material and roll unit to installation site.
CAUTION: When removing adhe-
sives from stainless steel, use a
small amount of non-flammable
cleaning solvent. Rub in a back-
and-forth motion (in same direc-
tion as surface grain). Solvent
rubbed in a circular motion or ap-
plied with a wire brush or steel
wool on door and chamber assem-
blies can be harmful to stainless
steel. Do not use solvents on
painted surfaces.
