Installing Glass Doors
CAUTION:
This is tempered
glass. Doors will shatter if
casually impacted on hard
surfaces. Do not set edges of glass on
hard surfaces such as concrete. Hold
glass at the edges, not the hinges.
While one person can do the glass
installation and removal, it is strongly
recommended that a second person
assists by supporting the glass while
the hinges are engaged and disengaged.
NOTE:
If any counterweights are to be
used, they must be installed before
installing the glass doors.
NOTE:
Flush mounted doors use the
rear set of holes. Proud mounted doors
use the forward set of holes.
1.
Adjust shelves to desired positions.
2.
Insert hinge plate spacer and
assemble all hinge mounting plates to
the uprights with two (2) or four (4)
screws each hinge and tighten.
3.
Position door and snap hinges onto
hinge plates.
NOTE:
It may be necessary to adjust the
vertical position using the adjustment
screw on the hinge plate so that all
hinges will snap in easily.
