Calibration
10.0
To get the best performance from the i-Drive, calibration is required. It is important to
note that calibration of the wheelchair to i-Drive is required even if i-Drive is using
switched inputs.
Chair Calibration
10.1
The chair calibration calibrates the wheelchair to the signals that the i-Drive sends.
Regardless of what inputs are connected to the i-Drive, the i-Drive looks like a joystick
from the perspective of the wheelchair. The values stored in the wheelchair for the center
voltage and the throw ranges may not be compatible when an i-Drive is initially installed,
and therefore the chair must be calibrated to set these values accordingly.
1.
Disengage the motors on the wheelchair.
2.
Your i-Drive should be detected on the app.
NOTICE
In all cases, calibration can only be done by a user with appropriate access
granted.
SAFETY
Chair calibration has been successfully tested on QLogic 2, QLogic3, and R-Net
Omni enhanced displays. Call your sales representative for compatibility with
other electronics.
