Have the vacuum cleaner inspected by customer service before conti nuing use.
Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner in the following cases:
– Long periods of non-use and aft er every use
– Before servicing or changing att achments
When unplugging, always grab the power plug, never the power cord. Never touch the power plug with wet
hands.
Never open the vacuum cleaner outdoors in rain or storms. Always keep the inside of the cover dry.
Always use the accessories included with the vacuum cleaner or specifi ed in the operati ng instructi ons.
Avoiding hazards during use
Instruct operati ng personnel on the following prior to use:
– Using the vacuum cleaner
– Hazards of the vacuumed material
– Safe disposal of the vacuumed material
– Potenti al accident hazards and suitable safety measures
Always use a clean sucti on hose. Do not sti r dangerous dusts. Do not inhale dust.
Do not insert objects in the openings. Do not use the device if an opening is clogged. Keep the openings free
from dust, fi bres, hair and other materials which may restrict the airfl ow. Keep hair, loose clothing, fi ngers and
other body parts away from the openings and moving parts
When using in food processing faciliti es: Clean and disinfect the vacuum cleaner immediately aft er use to
prevent contaminati on.
CAUTION
This device is intended for dry use. Moist media and liquids may only be vacuumed up in small
amounts, as this device does not monitor the liquid level.
Only use the device if all fi lters are installed and undamaged.
Avoiding hazards during service and repair
The area where the device is being serviced (regular and special) should always be clean and dry.
Repairs must be carried out by professionals. Always use original accessories and spare parts.
DANGER
Risk of electric shock! Do not carry out repairs unti l the device has been switched off and
disconnected from the power supply through pulling the mains plug.

When using the industrial vacuum for dust class H or in Zone 22, please observe the additi onal
informati on under items 4.4 and 6
