OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
ELLIPTICAL PATH ADJUSTMENT
The elliptical path of the
PEDAL CAPS(73, 74)
can be adjusted by moving the
TELESCOPING BARS(56)
closer to or further from the
PIVOTING ARMS(45, 46).
Refer to the following illustrations.
To adjust, loosen and pull the
ADJUSTMENT KNOB(58).
Adjust the position of the
TELESCOPING
BARS(56)
to new position. Release the
ADJUSTMENT KNOB(58)
and make sure the pin on the knob get
into the adjustment hole in the
TELESCOPING BARS(56).
Tighten the
ADJUSTMENT KNOB(58).

CAUTION:
EXERCISE WORKOUT
To start using the
EX
3.0
,
stand on the foot pedals, grasp the handlebars, move your highest foot forward
and follow the natural path of the machine.
CAUTION:
Do not use handlebars for upper body strength training.
Start at a load level that is comfortable to familiarize yourself with the machine. Once you are comfortable
start adjusting the load level to achieve the workout desired.
Load Level Adjustment
The load level of
EX
3.0
can be changed at any time during your workout. Adjusting the load level will allow
you to increase or decrease your intensity level.
Forward and Reverse
The
EX
3.0
can be used in the forward and reverse direction to vary the muscles that you work out. This will
also vary your workout helping you to stay motivated. To change directions, simply slow the pedals down
until they stop and switch directions.

Always adjust the
TELESCOPING BARS(56)
to the same position at both sides. Securely
tighten both
LOCKING KNOBS(58)
before exercising.
