Damper Removal
Use a long dowel (15 mm - 17 mm diameter) to push the seal head out
of the upper tube through the crown.
Clean the inside and outside of the upper tube.
Inspect the inside and outside of the upper tube for scratches.
NOTICE
Scratches on the inside surface of the upper tube can cause air to
leak. If an internal scratch is visible, the crown steerer upper tube
assembly may need to be replaced.
