Air Spring Removal and Service - Silver
Remove the outer seal head o-ring and inner quad ring seal and
discard them.
Clean the seal head.
NOTICE
Do not scratch the seal head. Scratches will cause air to leak.
Apply grease to the ball end of a clean 8 mm hex wrench. Insert the
ball end of the wrench into the seal head and stop just below the inner
seal gland.
Apply grease to the new inner quad ring seal and insert it into the inner
gland.
Use your finger to push the seal into the gland and use the ball end of
the 8 mm hex wrench to guide the seal into the gland.
Apply grease to the new outer o-ring and install it.
Apply a liberal amount of grease to the inner seal.
