2. Install the hanger on the indoor unit, as shown in Figure 4.

1. Prior to installation, prepare all piping (refrigerant pipe, drain pipe) and wiring (wired
controller, wires between the indoor and outdoor unit) of the indoor unit
2. Reinforce ceiling openings to reduce vibration and noise transmission. Consult a qualified
tradesperson for advice.
3. If the ceiling or structure cannot support the unit, the unit may need to be mounted on
brackets to suit the installation. Fabrication of the brackets shall be by others.
4. If the indoor unit is not installed in the conditioned space, the unit must be insulated to
prevent condensation.
