Additional refrigerant oil and refrigerant charging is required when extending the connection pipe:

Additional refrigerant oil amount = 5ml of refrigerant oil for every additional 5m of
connection pipe (where extended by 10m beyond the standard length)
●
Additional refrigerant charging amount = Additional Length of Liquid Pipe x Additional

PIPE EXPANDING METHOD
●
Incorrect pipe expanding is the main cause of refrigerant leakage. Please expand the pipe
using the steps detailed below.
1. Cut the pipe:
●
Confirm the pipe length according to the distance between the indoor unit and outdoor unit
●
Cut the required pipe with a pipe cutter
2. Remove the burrs:
●
Remove the burrs using a shaper in order to prevent them from entering the pipe
3. Apply suitable pipe insulation.
4. Install the union nut:
●
Remove the union nut from the indoor connection pipe and outdoor valve
●
Install the union nut on the pipe
5. Expand the port:
●
Expand the port with an expander
6. Inspection:
●
Check the quality of the expanded port. If there are any blemishes, expand the port again
according to the steps detailed previously.
