The PL/X suspends
Comms operation while in
CONFIGURATION mode.
To modify a parameter in the
CONFIGURATON menu, you
must
first set
ENABLE

to ENABLED. The
drive’s internal block diagram connections
can be re-configured using:

An Ethernet-based distributed
control system (DCS)

The PL/X HMI.

A DCS may complete the ENABLE
GOTO,GETFROM settings automatically,
for example, savvy.
To begin a Configuration session, you
must set

If you try to make a connection

The drive now runs a "Conflict
Checker" to warn of

To make configuration changes using the HMI, set

to DISABLED. (When using a serially connected configuration tool, setting

to ENABLED prevents changes from being made).
Changes are not permanent until a

To save your changes:
1.
Hold down the LEFT key to display the Diagnostic Summary screens. Release the
key.

Press the RIGHT (

) key,

Press the UP (

) key.
4. Press the RIGHT (

) key to display the PARAMETER SAVE screen.
5. Press the UP (
U
) key to continue and save.
