with green color. Orange color represents the 65% or 80% of max HR or target
heart rate entered.
5. During exercising, the console will compare the actual heart rate against the target
setting.

SPEED control mode
a. If the actual heart rate is slower than target setting, the message will show
“PRESS SPEED OR INCLINE UP”, “PRESS SPEED UP” or “PRESS INCLINE
UP”.
b. If the actual heart rate is higher than target setting, the message will show
“PRESS INCLINE DN”.

ZONE TRAINER
While exercising in the other programs (MANUAL, HILL, INTERVAL, RANDOM,
TRACK, FAT BURN, WT LOSS, and CARDIO), press the ZONE TRAINER key to
establish your current heart rate as your target heart rate. Like other heart rate control
programs, ZONE TRAINER requires the use of a telemetry heart rate strap. The heart
rate range is from 84 to 200. The original workout doesn't become a heart rate control
program if your actual heart rate is not in this range and the 14 segment display will
show “HR RANGE IS 84 - 200”.
