3. Disconnect and reconnect the gas spring as follows.

a. Remove the screw(42) and bushing (41).

b. Tap out the axle pin (40).

c. Align the end of the gas spring with the desired hole in the frame. Insert the axle

pin(40) into the hole in the frame and that in the gas spring. Secure the bushing

(41)and screw (42). Remove the object under the frame to prepare for normal

operation.
