Electrical connections
10.1. Heater connection
DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE:
Danger: Be sure the electrical connections to the vehicle are disconnect-
ed prior to attempting to open the heater.
The electrical connection of the heaters is to be performed in accord-
ance with Fig 33, 35 or 37: System wiring diagram
Any plug designs that differ from the standard versions (Fig. 33, 35 and
37) are to be requested separately from Spheros.
The indicated wire cross sections are to be observed.
The negative and positive poles of the heater control unit must be con-
nected directly to the battery.
10.2. Connection of the heater controls
The heater can be switched on and off using the following SPHEROS
heater controls:
– Switch, see system wiring diagram Fig. 33, 35 and 37
– Timer, see system wiring diagram Fig. 38
10.3. Control module
The control module is installed in the heater or mounted external.
