2.5. Mounting
Electrical devices must be assembled and installed by trained
personnel only.
The dialog Web Server can either be mounted on the supplied mounting plate for
mounting on a top-hat rail (DIN EN 50022), or it can be glued with the supplied rubber
feet and operated as a desktop device.
2.6. Installation
Electrical devices must be assembled and installed by trained
personnel only.
The dialog Web Server provides the typical connection possibilities of a PC. However,
only the power supply connection (B), the PE connection (A) and the ports for LAN A (C)
and possibly LAN B (D) are to be used. All other connections must remain free. This is
the only way to ensure correct functioning.

2.7. Commissioning
Plug the Ethernet cable into port LAN A. Connect the power supply cable to a suitable
power source. After approx. 3 minutes the device is ready for operation and can be
configured via the web interface.
Commissioning of the EIA-852 (LON-over-IP) device, integration via service pin or manual
input of the NeuronId, can only be performed after IP configuration has been
completed. More detailed information can be found in the next chapter.
