wireless ifconfig
Configure the wireless settings.

Enable or disable the interface operational status of wireless access point.
The default is
enabled
.
OPTIONAL
channel
The communication channel number.
Choose between:
auto
: the best communication channel is automatically selected by the
SpeedTouch™ (recommended setting).
a number between 1 and 14.
Note
Depending on local regulations, the number of channels actually
allowed to be used, may be restricted.
The default is
auto
.
OPTIONAL
ssid
The network name, also known as Service Set ID (SSID).
OPTIONAL
any
Make the SSID public or not.
Choose between:
enabled
: the SpeedTouch™ broadcasts its SSID and accepts every client.
disabled
: the SpeedTouch™ does not broadcast its SSID and accepts only
those clients who have the correct SSID.
The default is
enabled
.
OPTIONAL
interop
Select the interoperability mode.
Choose between:
802.11b
: only IEEE 802.11b clients can connect to the SpeedTouch™.
802.11b/g
: IEEE 802.11g and b clients can connect to the SpeedTouch™.
Note
When a IEEE 802.11b client connects to the SpeedTouch™, the
modulation rate drops to 11Mbps for this client.
802.11g
: only IEEE 802.11g clients can connect to the SpeedTouch™.
The default is
802.11b/g
.
OPTIONAL
frameburst
Enable or disable framebursting.
The default is
disabled
.
