About TreeFrog

Architecture
The Spectra 2K library uses TreeFrog architecture for robotic tape libraries developed
by Spectra Logic. The cornerstones of TreeFrog architecture are the integrated picker
and the uni-body robotic chassis. TreeFrog architecture libraries can be purchased with
15 or 30 cartridges and with one or two tape drives.
About This Guide
This guide describes the installation and operation of the Spectra 2K library, including
troubleshooting information. The information in this manual specifically covers Spectra
2K libraries with Gigabit Ethernet or Fibre Channel interfaces using iSCSI, NDMP or
Serverless Backup.
