Purchasing Bar Code Labels
For information on the required specifications, refer to About AIT Bar Code Labels on
page 20.
You can purchase bar code labels from Spectra Logic or from a custom supplier.
•You can purchase a bar code labels within the range of 000000 to 000179 directly
from Spectra Logic. Use part number 92844100 to place your order.
•Pre-bar-coded Certified AIT Media is available directly from Spectra Logic. All bar
code numbers on Certified AIT Media are unique and sequenced.
Note:
While many vendors are available for standard 8 mm bar code
labels, AIT labels are slightly smaller, so exercise caution when
acquiring labels. Use only bar code labels that are specifically
designed for AIT tape cartridges.
Purchasing Custom Bar Code Label Sequences
Bar codes for custom sequences can be purchased through distribution. The part
number for AIT bar code labels is #1699-26 EDP. See the
Enabled Spectra 2K Release
