Chapter 5. Using the HTTP Interface

Note:

The library will not be in SCSI-3 mode entirely; only the read
element status return will be in SCSI-3 mode.

When the box is left unchecked, the library will return device identifiers using
the SCSI-2 standard. Checking or un-checking the DVCID box helps ensure
software and hardware compatibility with SCSI-2 or SCSI-3 devices.
