fasten it to the shaft sealing casing.

Insert hexagon head screws (901) into the casing and
the shaft sealing casing and fasten them to the motor
flange.
7.3.5 Assembly of NPY-2051


1. Installation of mechanical seal, stationary unit
−
Moisten the auxiliary seal of the stationary unit of the
mechanical seal (047) with lubricant (alcohol, water).
−
Manually force the stationary unit into the casing (101).
−
Position the motor on the fan hood.
−
Slide the splash ring (507) onto the motor shaft.
−
Push the casing over the motor shaft, centre it on the
motor flange (IM B5) and adjust it.
2. Installation of mechanical seal, rotating unit
−
Moisten the auxiliary seal of the rotating unit of the
mechanical seal (047) with lubricant (grease containing
PTFE).
−
Push the rotating unit onto the motor shaft by a screw-
ing movement in the sense of winding of the spring.
−
Slide the locking ring (932) onto the motor shaft and
slip it into the groove of the motor shaft.
3. Installation of impeller
−
Insert the fitting key (940) into the motor shaft.
−
Push the impeller (230) onto the motor shaft.
4. Installation of casing cover
−
Centre the O-ring (412) on the casing (101).
−
Force the casing cover (161) onto the casing and ad-
just.
−
Insert the hexagon head screws (901) into the casing
cover and the casing and fasten them to the motor
flange.

1. Installation of mechanical seal, stationary unit
−
Moisten the auxiliary seal of the stationary unit of the
mechanical seal (047) with lubricant (alcohol, water).
−
Manually force the stationary unit into the discharge
casing (101).
−
Position the motor on the fan hood.
−
Slide the splash ring (507) onto the motor shaft.
−
Push the discharge casing over the motor shaft, centre
it on the motor flange (IM B5) and adjust it.
2. Installation of mechanical seal, rotating unit
−
Moisten the auxiliary seal of the rotating unit of the
mechanical seal (047) with lubricant (grease containing
PTFE).
−
Push the rotating unit onto the motor shaft by a screw-
ing movement in the sense of winding of the spring.
−
Slide the washer (550.1) and the locking ring (932)
onto the motor shaft and slip it into the groove of the
motor shaft.
3. Installation of impeller
−
Insert the fitting key (940) into the motor shaft.
−
Push the impeller (230) onto the motor shaft.
−
Tighten the threaded pin (904) on the impeller (230).
4. Installation of suction casing
−
Centre the O-ring (412) on the discharge casing.
−
Force the suction casing into the discharge casing
(101) and adjust.
−
Insert the hexagon head screws (901) into the suction
casing and the discharge casing and fasten them to
the motor flange.

1. Installation of mechanical seal, stationary unit
−
Moisten the auxiliary seal of the stationary unit of the
mechanical seal (047) with lubricant (alcohol, water).
−
Manually force the stationary unit into the shaft sealing
casing (Y: 441) respectively into the casing
(CY/CSY:101).
−
Position the motor on the fan hood.
−
Slide the splash ring (507) onto the motor shaft.
−
Push the shaft sealing casing/casing over the motor
shaft, centre it on the motor flange and adjust it.
2. Installation of mechanical seal, rotating unit
−
Moisten the auxiliary seal of the rotating unit of the
mechanical seal (047) with lubricant (grease containing
PTFE).
−
Push the rotating unit onto the motor shaft by a screw-
ing movement in the sense of winding of the spring.
−
Slide the washer (550.1) and the locking ring (932)
onto the motor shaft and slip it into the groove of the
motor shaft.
3. Installation of impeller
−
Insert the fitting key (940) into the motor shaft.
−
Push the impeller (230) onto the motor shaft.
4. Installation of casing respectively casing cover


−
Centre the O-ring (412) on the shaft sealing casing
(441).
−
Force the casing (101) onto the shaft sealing casing
and adjust.
−
Insert hexagon head screws (901) into the casing and
the shaft sealing casing and fasten them to the motor
flange.


−
Centre the O-ring (412) on the casing (101).
−
Force the casing cover (101) onto the casing and ad-
just.
−
Insert hexagon head screws (901) into the casing
cover and the casing and fasten them to the motor
flange.
