Disassembly of PY-2071

The pump aggregate has been removed from the system 
and is positioned in a clean and level assembly area. 

1. 

Disassembly of suction casing 

−

 

Position the aggregate vertically on the fan hood. 

−

 

Loosen the hexagon head screws (901) on the suction 
casing (106). Remove the suction casing and the 
screws. 

−

 

Remove the O-ring (412). 

2. 

Disassembly of impeller 

−

 

Loosen the threaded pin (904) on the impeller (230). 

−

 

Pull the impeller (230) off the motor shaft (the impeller 
is provided with a thread for the puller). 

−

 

Remove the fitting key (940) from the motor shaft. 

3. 

Disassembly of the mechanical seal and the discharge 

casing 

−

 

Remove the locking ring (932). 

−

 

Pull the discharge casing (107) and the rotating unit of 
the mechanical seal (047) off the motor shaft. 

−

 

Push the stationary unit of the mechanical seal from 
the rear out of the discharge casing.

Disassembly of casing respectively casing cover

Position the aggregate vertically on the fan hood. 

−

 

Loosen the hexagon head screws (901) on the casing 
(Y: 101) respectively on the casing cover  
(CY-/CSY: 161), remove the screws and the cas-
ing/casing. 

−

 

Remove the O-ring (412). 

2. 

Disassembly of impeller 

−

 

Pull the impeller (230) off the motor shaft (the impeller 
is provided with a thread for the puller). 

−

 

Remove the fitting key (940) from the motor shaft. 

3. 

Disassembly of mechanical seal and shaft sealing casing 

−

 

Remove the locking ring (932). 

−

 

Pull the shaft sealing casing (441) and the rotating unit 
of the mechanical seal (047) off the motor shaft. 

−

 

Push the stationary unit of the mechanical seal from 
the rear out of the shaft sealing casing.

screws and the casing/casing cover.

Pull the locking ring (932) and the conical sleeve (504) 
off the motor shaft.

Pull the rotating unit of the mechanical seal (047) off 
the motor shaft.

Remove the shaft sealing casing (Y: 441). or casing 
(CY:101) 

−

 

Push the stationary unit of the mechanical seal from 
the rear out of the shaft sealing casing/casing.

Push the stationary unit of the mechanical seal from 
the rear out of the shaft sealing casing.

Pull the conical sleeve and the rotating unit of the me-
chanical seal (047) off the motor shaft.
