Split Inverter Air-to-Water Heat Pump
Installation Position - Outdoor Unit
1. Unit should be set on a pad built strong enough to hold the
weight of the unit. Pad should be pitched for condensate roll-
off and de-frost roll off. Exhaust air and condensate should not
affect neighbors.
2. The unit must not be installed in areas with corrosive gases,
severe dust, salt spray, fumes, and flammable and explosive
materials.
3. The installation site is well-ventilated. In the unit's exhaust and
suction passages, it must be ensured that the air discharged by
the unit or the air discharged by other units will not be sucked
back into the unit. At the same time, there should be no obstruc-
tion in the exhaust and suction passage.
4. When the unit is installed, it is recommended to avoid installa-
tion to install it in a place vulnerable to strong winds or typhoon
blows. Follow local codes for precautions against high winds
and vibration such as hurricanes and earthquakes. Failure to
do so may result in accidents such as dumping or falling of the
unit. If conditions permit, auxiliary equipment such as rain, snow,
and direct sunlight protection equipment can be installed.
5. The installation site should facilitate installation of piping and
electrical connections. Please reserve enough space for main-
tenance of the unit; Please refer to the clearances section of
this manual for proper clearances.
6. If the unit is mounted on the wall, it is necessary to take good
drainage protection measures to prevent icing in winter due to
low temperature, which may drop and cause injury.

Installation Instructions
Outdoor Unit
1. The installation site bearing surface of the unit is horizontal and can bear the
weight of the unit. The chassis of the unit must be erected during installation to
ensure smooth water discharge, and operation noise, exhausted air and
condensate water will not affect neighbors;
2. The unit must not be installed in areas with corrosive gases, severe dust, salt
spray, fumes, and flammable and explosive materials;
3. The installation site is well-ventilated. In the unit's exhaust and suction passages,
it must be ensured that the air discharged by the unit or the air discharged by
other units will not be sucked back into the unit. At the same time, there should
be no obstruction in the exhaust and suction passage;
4. When the unit is installed, it is forbidden to install it in a place vulnerable to
strong winds or typhoon blows. Please take precautions such as wind and
earthquake prevention according to the regulations. Failure to do so may result
in accidents such as dumping or falling of the unit. If conditions permit,
auxiliary equipment such as rain, snow, and direct sunlight protection
equipment can be installed.
5. The installation site should facilitate installation of piping and electrical
connections. Please reserve enough space for maintenance of the unit;
6. If the unit is mounted on the wall, it is necessary to take good drainage
protection measures to prevent icing in winter due to low temperature, which
may drop and cause injury.

Indoor Unit
1. The unit installation site must be able to withstand the weight of the unit, and does
not generate resonance with the unit and does not increase operation noise;
2. When the unit is installed, the base fixing plate must be erected to facilitate
installation of the inlet and outlet pipes and the Freon way connecting pipe;
3. The unit is forbidden to install in places with corrosive gas, serious dust, salt fog,
fumes and flammable and explosive materials;
4. The installation site should facilitate installation of piping and electrical connections.
Please reserve enough space for maintenance of the unit;
5. Ensure that the height from the indoor unit to ground is between 1.5m and 1.8m, and
it is easy to connect the outdoor unit;
6. The installation site should be inaccessible to children.
