II X-ray
System
Power-up the System
After you have connected all of the system components, you can power-up the system and
verify the connections.
About this task
Danger: The x-ray system must not be powered up or used in the
presence of a flammable or explosive atmosphere, including certain
gases used for anesthesia. Electric motors and other electrical
equipment within or related to the x-ray system can ignite flammable
or explosive gases or vapors, resulting in injury, death, or damage.
Consult the site documentation or personnel to determine the
presence of and hazards posed by gases in the vicinity of the x-ray
system. Observe all cautions and warnings in this manual and in the
User Manual. Failure to abide by the instructions and precautions
provided in this manual may result in unnecessary risk to patients,
users, or equipment.

Procedure
1. Verify that the PC, panel, and x-ray generator have sufficient battery power to remain
active during the configuration process. If it is possible to plug in a component to power it,
then you may do so.
2. Turn on the x-ray generator.
3. Turn on the Tablet, keyboard (if used), and mouse (if used).
The power button is on the upper-right edge of the casing. The Tablet automatically logs in
to the Sound account.
4. Turn on the panel.
The power button is on the upper-right side of the panel.
The system is now installed and ready for configuration.
