Chapter 8 SCSI Commands
8.13.2. Diagnostic Page Format
In a Page (80h, 81h, and 82h) supported by the autoloader, the diagnostics
results are returned according to the following Page format.
Table 8.13.2.1 : Diagnostic Page Format
The Page Code indicates the Page Code of this page. The valid values of this
field are shown in table 8.13.1.1.
The Parameter List Length indicates the number of bytes transferred following
this field. The value of this field is always 02h.
The Requested Test Count indicates how many times the Diagnostic operation
requested by the autoloader is repeated. This value is the Test Count in the
Parameter List of the SEND DIAGNOSTICS command.
The Completed Test Count indicates the number of times the Diagnostic
operation requested by the autoloader is repeated. If it is different from the
Request Test Count, the autoloader is for some reason unable to proceed before
reaching the requested number of repetitions.
8.14. RELEASE Command (7h)
The RELEASE command is used to release a previously reserved autoloader or
element. If the host releases a current invalid reservation, it is not treated as an
error. In this case, the command is terminated with GOOD status without other
reservation processing.
