VHF/UHF IN jack
Inputs analog non-satellite signals from your TV
antenna or cable TV connection. Some antennas
require an adapter (not supplied).

Inputs satellite signals from your Satellite Dish
Antenna using RG-6 coaxial cable.

VHF/UHF IN (DTV) jack
Inputs digital non-satellite signals from your TV
antenna. Some antennas require an adapter (not

RF REMOTE jack
Inputs remote control signals using the RF
Antenna.

ACCESS CARD slot
After you have inserted the Access Card, do not
remove the Access Card unless instructed to do so
by your service provider.

digital monitor, or other audio/video equipment

Connects the Digital Satellite Receiver to a

Outputs digital audio signals to the digital optical
input of your audio receiver.

Outputs digital video signals to your TV or digital
monitor using a VGA cable.

LOW SPEED DATA jack
Can be used to connect your Digital Satellite
Receiver to certain products such as Personal
Video Recorders.

VCR CONTROL jack
Allows the VCR Controller to control a VCR. Also
allows connection of a monaural cable for use
with Sony SmartFile VCRs.

VHF(SAT)/UHF OUT jack
Outputs audio and video signals to the VHF/
UHF input on your TV or VCR using coaxial (RF)
cable. The TV/SAT button on your remote control
can change the output from the VHF/UHF IN
jack to the VHF/UHF IN, SATELLITE IN and
VHF/UHF(DTV) jacks.
