Remedy
Change the setting of SIRCS
RECEIVER in the SET SETTING
menu. (page 28)
Consult qualified service personnel.
Cause
The unit is near a fluorescent lamp.
The lamp is near the end of its life.
Meaning
No input signal
You have pressed the wrong key.
This input signal cannot be projected as
the horizontal frequency is out of the
acceptable range of the projector.
The lamp is near the end of its life.
Remedy
Check the connections.
Press the appropriate key.
Input a signal within the acceptable
range of the horizontal frequency.
Ask qualified service personnel to
replace the lamp.
Meaning
The fan is not running
The lamp is out of order. (The
lamp does not light up.)
The lamp is not installed.
The cooling fan for the lamp is out
of order.
Temperature of the lamp power is
too high.
Temperature of the lamp housing
is too high.
Temperature around the projector
is too high.
Temperature around the projector
is too low.
The front lens cover is detached.
The rear lamp cover is detached.
Remedy
Consult qualified service personnel.
Adjust the room temperature so that the temperature around the
projector becomes within acceptable range (10°C to 35°C (50°F
to 95°F)). Leave the projector for about one hour without
ventilation holes blocked to let the temperature go down. When
the lamp does not light up even if the room temperature becomes
within acceptable range, consult qualified service personnel.
Adjust the room temperature so that the temperature around the
projector becomes within acceptable range (10°C to 35°C (50°F
to 95°F)). (No picture may appear when the temperature around
the projector is too high.)
Warm up the inside of the projector for a while with the lamp lit.
The picture will appear as the temperature around the projector is
adjusted to be in acceptable range (10°C to 35°C (50°F to 95°F)).
Close the lens cover securely.
Close the internal lamp cover securely.
Consult qualified service personnel.
