Time code and other information appear on the display of the connected
device.

• Set [DISPLAY OUTPUT] to [LCD PANEL] (p. 161).

Sound cannot be added to the recording after recording.

• You cannot add sound to the recording after recording on your camcorder.

The computer does not recognize the camcorder.

• Disconnect the cable from the computer, then connect it again securely.
• Disconnect the cable from your computer and camcorder. Reboot your computer, and

connect your computer and camcorder following the steps in the correct order.

Movies cannot be viewed or copied to the computer.

• Disconnect the cable from the computer, then connect it again.
• You need to download the “Catalyst Browse” software to copy movies from your camcorder

to your computer.

The ND filter does not move.

• You can move the ND filter to the “CLEAR” position using the following procedure.

Turn off the camcorder.

Remove the round cap.

Insert a screwdriver into the hole and turn
counterclockwise.
Turning the screwdriver counterclockwise
moves the ND filter. Turn the screwdriver until
the ND filter is in the “CLEAR” position.
Use a flat-blade screwdriver of size

smaller. The screwdriver insertion depth is
approximately 1.5 cm (5/8 in.).
