Power Supply
You can use a battery pack or AC power via
the AC adaptor.
If you connect the unit to an AC power
source while a battery pack is mounted, the
AC power has priority.
Note
For safety, use only the Sony battery packs and
AC adaptors listed below.
• BP-U30 Lithium-ion Battery Pack (option)
• AC-NB12A AC Adapter (supplied)
Using battery packs
Mount a BP-U30 Lithium-ion Battery Pack.
Note
Before mounting the battery pack, charge it using
the specialized BC-U1 or BC-U2 Battery
Charger (both optional).
For more information on charging the battery, refer
to the operating instructions of the battery charger.
To mount the battery pack

Press the battery cover OPEN button,
and open the battery cover.

Insert the battery pack all the way into
the slot, and slide it in to lock.
To remove the battery pack

Press the battery cover OPEN button,
and open the battery cover.

Slide the battery pack to release the
lock, then remove.
