2-2-27. Replacing the Parts in the
Lens Grip
Removing the grip cover
1. Remove the three screws

, and remove the
screw

2. Remove the grip cover in the direction of the
arrow.(Fig. 1)
3. Disconnect the harness from the connector of
the T/W zoom switch. (Fig. 2)
Replacing the cap (START/STOP)
1. Remove the cap (START/STOP) by pushing it
in from the outside of the grip cover. (Fig. 3)
2. Install the new cap (START/STOP) by align-
ing its notch with the protrusion of the grip
cover. (Fig. 3)
Installing the grip cover
Reinstall the grip cover by reversing the steps of
removal.
Replacing the grip belt
1. Separate the grip belt from the buckle, and
remove the pad. (Fig. 4)
2. Pull it off the grip belt from the grip cover.
(Fig. 4)
3. Install the new grip belt by reversing the steps
of removal. (Fig. 4)
