System Fault Troubleshooting
Recovery method
•
Check that the optical fiber cables connected to the IP converter on which the fault occurs and the network switch port
that connects to the IP converter are connected correctly.
•
Check that the optical fiber cables are not damaged. If damaged, replace the optical fiber cables.
•
Check the IP converter error code from the error message details on the [Notification List] screen, and refer to the
operating instructions for the IP converter. When finished, restart the IP converter.
•
If the problem persists, the IP converter may have failed. Contact your sales representative.
•
Replace with a spare unit, if one is available, as described in
“Replacement Procedures when IP Converter Fault
Faults with Network GenLock Leader Devices
Error detection
•
A lock error is detected and displayed on the [Notification] screen.
•
The background color of the device icon of the IP converter on which the fault (warning) occurs changes to yellow and
is displayed on the icon on the [Network Topology Monitoring] screen.
Error messages
1
The status of some Leader Network GenLock Modules is not Locked.
