Setting the Privacy
Masking Function
—
Privacy masking setting Page
When you click
Privacy masking
on the Administrator
menu, the Privacy masking setting page appears.
You can set two areas for each channel.
When this unit is connected to the BRC-300, EVI-D100
or EVI-D70 with a cable, you can always set the same
position in this function by expanding, reducing and
moving to suit to the PTZ action of the camera.
Note
When you use Pan/Tilt camera, an accidental error
between the movement of the camera and masking
becomes larger as the elevation angle of the camera
becomes larger, and then the masking point will not line
up with the object point.
Before actually operating the product, be sure to run a
trial masking operation that is same as the actual
required operation in accordance with the camera
installation conditions and position of the target object.
Setting the Privacy Masking Area
Set the Privacy masking area as follows:
1
Determine the view angle of the camera at which
you want to monitor, using the pan, tilt and zoom.
2
Click
Privacy masking
on the Administrator
menu.
A still picture is captured and the Privacy masking
setting page appears.
3
Select the channel where the Privacy masking
function is activated from
CH1
to
CH4
