Set the zoom to TELE end,
and shoot the pattern C.

Adjust the camcorder
direction so that a dot in the
pattern C is displayed in the
center of monitor screen.

Set the zoom to WIDE end,
and shoot the pattern C.
(Note 1)

Measure the moving amount
of a dot (difference in
position between TELE end
and WIDE end), and assume
it as C (mm).

Measure vertical length of
the monitor screen, and
assume it as H (mm).

Make sure that C is within
8% of H. (Note 2)
Note 1:
Using the adjustment remote commander (HOLD switch
in HOR position), operate the zoom and focus without
touching the camcorder.
Note 2: If out of specification, perform readjustment.
